These are both a bit hard to read and mysterious. This building is across the street from Commutator Foundry and up a block from the Distributor building, so it's fertile territory for ghost signs. These say Chicago House. You will no doubt not be surprised that Googling Chicago House yields little beyond references to dance music in the Chicago style. Apparently that's popular with the kids today. They don't tell us old people.The ambiguous signage is on either side of 124 1st St. N.
